Who made this site?

My name is Graham Carrick and I am, in many ways, a rally novice. I have only attended the Dragon since 1995. I'd wanted to 'do' the Dragon since the mid 80s, but I'd never seen details of how to get tickets. No Internet in those days.

Like many Dragon virgins, I ended up going for the first time because a friend got tickets and asked me if I wanted to come along. And it was horrid! However, I've been going ever since, so it must have some attraction.

I run a motorcycle club for single cylinder four stroke motorcycles, called (oddly enough) The Thumper Club and it has mostly been on thumpers that I have attended the rally, in recent years on a 500cc Honda sidecar outfit.

I have also ridden to four Elefant rallies.

Why create this site?

It's simple really, at the time there were no other websites devoted solely to the Dragon Rally*. Everyone who attends the Dragon has a tale to tell about their trip. I wanted to create an outlet for those stories.
